Richard Ling-Williams started in solicitors' accounts in 1980 as an assistant legal cashier with Law Systems & Designs. Working with Martin Hajaj, one of the co-founders of the Institute of Legal Cashiers, and went on to form Chancery Book Keeping Services in 1981. Working with clients in all areas of law and through the many changes which have occured, Richard has gained a unique store of experience and knowledge which he puts to good use for both existing and new clients. He has acted as a trainer and troubleshooter for several of the software companies in the solicitors accounts market and has worked throughout England and the Channel Islands. Richard is a member of the Institute of Legal Cashiers and Administrators and a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Accounts Managers.

Charges

Our charges are based on hourly rates unless we agree otherwise. Our current rates for solicitors book keeping are from £21.50 to £30.00 per hour and will remain fixed until January 2011 for all new clients.

Our Aims

At Chancery Book Keeping Services our aims are very simple - we want to provide a high quality solicitors' accounts service to our clients. We do this by ensuring that

  • all our staff are professional legal cashiers experienced in all areas of solicitors' practises
  • by keeping abreast of new developments and changes in the Solicitors Accounts Rules through training
  • by building strong relationships with our clients and understanding their unique requirements
